As I have been saying for some time now, this is one of the few times that I am not right and that my predictions and those of my fellow Conservatives do not come to fruition.
Conservative Prophesies That Did NOT Come True:
BHO DID NOT place his hand on a Koran when taking the Oath of Office.
BHO DID say “So help me God” at the end of his oath.
BHO IS NOT going to redecorate the entire White House. He CAN’T. There are several laws and organisations that forbid it. He is only allowed to redecorate the living quarters (read: NON-PUBLIC areas) and most of the budget is dedicated to his daughters’ bedrooms.
Not all Democrats are lock-step with BHO. The majority of his opposition is coming from his own party. Moonbats are never satisfied.
BHO IS more bi-partisan than he ever was as a legislator. Although, someone needs to inform him that it is CONGRESS who makes the laws and so far, Bella Pelosi has ZERO interest in including the Republicans in her reindeer games.
NOT all world leaders are hailing the ascension of the Moonbat Messiah. Ahmedinejad and Chavez still hate America and protesters in Gaza held a sign that had bullet holes through a picture of BHO’s head.
Conservative Prophesies that DID Come True:
BHO IS the most pro-death President EVER. He signed two anti-life Executive Orders as soon as he became President. One authorises taxpayer dollars to fund overseas groups that perform abortions (Reagan’s Mexico City Doctrine). The other one rescinds GWB’s restrictions on embryonic stem cell research.
BHO also closed GITMO. John McCain would have done the same thing, except McCain would have solved the problem of housing the terrorists BEFORE promising to immediately close it.

Why I Don't Vote Democrat
Contrary to the assertions of Obamunists, I vote Republican because the GOP best represents my values, NOT because I am a racist. The same goes for all Republicans. The Democrat party goes against everything that I hold dear. I value the sanctity of life and the sanctity of traditional, heterosexual marriage. I believe that life begins at conception and that holding this belief is not above my paygrade. I value honesty and integrity, characteristics that Barack Hussein Obama does not possess. I believe in small government and that the government is of the people, by the people, and for the people. I believe that the Constitution should be upheld by our judges as written, and not interpreted based on feelings. I believe in concrete policies, not just abstract ideas. I believe in necessary regulation, not over regulation. I believe in low taxes and the value of a dollar. I believe that capitalism is what makes our economy great and that the trickle-down theory works both ways. I believe that Socialism is a failed system that is inherently flawed and inherently evil. I believe that "economic equality" is just a euphemism for Socialism. I believe in equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome. Above all, I believe in Dr. Martin Luther King's dream that one should be judged not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character. If that makes me a racist, then I shall wear that label with pride and as a badge of honour.

An Open Letter to Barack Hussein Obama

The New York Times carried a story on Saturday, October 4, 2008, that proved you had a significantly closer relationship with Bill Ayers than what you previously admitted. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.
The Chicago Sun reported on May 8, 2008, that FBI records showed that you had a significantly closer relationship with Tony Rezko 20 than what you previously admitted. In the interview, you said that you only saw Mr. Rezko a couple of times a year. The FBI files showed that you saw him weekly. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.
Your speech in Philadelphia on March 18, 2008, about “race” contradicted your statement to Anderson Cooper on March 14 when you said that you never heard Reverend Wright make his negative statements about white America . While your attendance at Trinity Church for 20 years is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on March 14.
In your 1st debate with John McCain, you said that you never said that you would meet with the leaders of Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea without “preparations” at lower levels … Joe Biden repeated your words in his debate with Sarah Palin … while the video tape from your debate last February clearly shows that you answered “I would” to the question of meeting with those leaders within 12 months without “any” preconditions. While your judgement about meeting with enemies of the USA without pre-conditions is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America in the debate with McCain.
On July 14, 2008, you said that you always knew that the surge would work while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you stated that the surge would not work. While your judgement about military strategy as a potential commander-in-chief is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on July 14.
You now claim that your reason for voting against funding for the troops was because the bill did not include a time line for withdrawal, while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you voted against additional funding because you wanted our troops to be removed immediately … not in 16 months after the 2008 election as you now claim. While your judgment about removing our troops unilaterally in 2007 is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about your previous position.
You claim to have a record of working with Republicans while the record shows that the only bill that you sponsored with a Republican was with Chuck Lugar … and it failed. The record shows that you vote 97% in concert with the Democrat party and that you have the most liberal voting record in the Senate. You joined Republic ans only 13% of the time in your votes and those 13% were only after agreement from the Democrat party. While it is of concern that you fail to include conservatives in your actions and that you are such a liberal, the greater concern is that you distorted the truth.
In the primary debates of last February, 2008, you claimed to have talked with a “Captain” of a platoon in Afghanistan “the other day” when in fact you had a discussion in 2003 with a In your debates last spring, you claimed to have been a “professor of Constitutional law” when in fact you have never been a professor of Constitutional law. In this last debate, you were careful to say that you “taught a law class” and never mentioned being a “professor of Constitutional law.” You lied last spring.
You and Joe Biden both claimed that John McCain voted against additional funding for our troops when the actual records show the opposite. You distorted the truth.
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted against funding for alternate energy sources 20 times when the record shows that John McCain specifically voted against funding for bio fuels, especially corn … and he was right ….. corn is too expensive at producing ethanol, and using corn to make ethanol increased the price of corn from $2 a bushel to $6 a bushel for food. You distorted the truth.
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted like both of you for a tax increase on those making as little as $42,000 per year while the voting record clearly shows that John McCain did not vote as you and Joe Biden. You lied to America .
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time when you know that Democrats also vote 90% of the time with the President (including Joe Biden) because the vast majority of the votes are procedural. You are one of the few who has not voted 90% of the time with the president because you have been missing from the Senate since the day you got elected. While your absence from your job in the Senate is of concern, the greater concern is that you spin the facts.
You did not take an active role in the rescue plan. You claimed that the Senate did not need you while the real reason that you abstained was because of your close relationships with the executives of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Countrywide, and Acorn … who all helped cause the financial problems of today .. and they all made major contributions to your campaign. While your relationship with these executives and your protection of them for your brief 3 years in the Senate (along with Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, and Chris Dodd) is of concern, the greater concern is that you are being deceitful.
You forgot to mention that you personally represented Tony Rezko and Acorn. Tony Rezko, an Arab and close friend to you, was convicted of fraud in Chicago real estate transactions that bilked millions of tax dollars from the Illinois government for renovation projects that you sponsored as a state senator … and Acorn has been convicted of voter fraud, real estate sub prime loan intimidation, and illegal campaign contributions. Tony Rezko has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to your political campaigns. You personally used your political positions to steer money to both Tony Rezko and Acorn and you used Acorn to register thousands of phony voters for Democrats and you. While your relationships with Rezko and Acorn are of concern, the greater concern is that you omitted important facts about your relationships with them to America .
During your campaign, you said: “typical white person.” “They cling to their guns and religion.” “They will say that I am black.” You played the race card. You tried to label any criticism about you as racist. You divide America .
You claim that you will reduce taxes for 95% of America , but you forgot to tell America that those reductions are after you remove the Bush tax reductions. You have requested close to $1 billion in earmarks and several million for Acorn. Your social programs will cost America $1 trillion per year and you claim that a reduction in military spending ($100 billion for Iraq ) can pay for it. While your economic plan of adding 30% to the size of our federal government is of concern, the greater concern is that you are deceiving America .
The drain to America ’s economy by foreign supplied oil is $700 billion per year (5% of GDP) while the war in Iraq is $100 billion (less than 1% of GDP). You voted against any increases to oil exploration for the last 3 years and any expansion of nuclear facilities. Yet today, you say that you have always been for more oil and more nuclear. You are lying to America .
Mr. Obama, you claimed that you “changed” your mind about public financing for your campaign because of the money spent by Republican PACs in 2004. The truth is that the Democrat PACs in 2004, 2006, and 2008 spent twice as much as the Republicans (especially George Soros and MoveOn.org). You are lying to America .
Mr. Obama, you have done nothing to stop the actions of the teachers union and college professors in the USA . They eliminated religion from our history. They teach pro gay agendas and discuss sex with students as young as first grade. They bring their personal politics into the classrooms. They disparage conservatives. They brainwash our children. They are in it for themselves ….. not America . Are you reluctant to condemn their actions because teachers/professors and the NEA contribute 2 5% of all money donated to Democrats and none to Republicans? You are deceiving America .
Oh, Mr. Obama, Teddy Roosevelt said about a hundred years ago that we Americans should first look at the character of our leaders before anything else.
Your character looks horrible. While you make good speeches, motivating speeches, your character does not match your rhetoric. You talk the talk, but do not walk the walk.

3. You had associations with some very bad people for your personal political gains and then lied about those associations.

Annapolis graduate with “Country first.” Operational leadership experience like all 43 previously elected presidents of the USA as a Navy officer for 22 years. 26 years in the Senate. Straight talk. Maverick. 54% of the time participated on bills with Democrats. Never asked for an earmark. The only blemish on his record is his part in the Keating 5 debacle about 25 years ago.
Mr. Obama, at Harvard Law School , you learned that the end does not justify the means. You learned that perjury, false witness, dishonesty, distortion of truth are never tolerated. Yet, your dishonesty is overwhelming. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty that caused the impeachment and disbarment of Bill Clinton. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty of Scooter Libby. You should be ashamed.
Mr. Obama, it is time for us Americans to put aside our differences on political issues and vote against you because of your dishonest character. It is time for all of us Americans to put aside our political issues and vote for America first. It is time for America to vote for honesty.
Any people who vote for you after understanding that you are dishonest should be ashamed of themselves for making their personal political issues more important than character. Would these same people vote for the anti-Christ if the anti-Christ promised them riches ? Would they make a golden calf while Moses was up the mountain? Would they hire someone for a job if that someone lied in an interview? Of course not. So why do some of these people justify their votes for you even though they know you are dishonest? Why do they excuse your dishonesty?
Because some of these people are frightened about the future, the economy, and their financial security …. and you are preying on their fears with empty promises … and because some (especially our young people) are consumed by your wonderful style and promises for “change” like the Germans who voted for Adolf Hitler in 1932. The greed/envy by Germans in 1932 kept them from recognizing Hitler for who he was. They loved his style. Greed and envy are keeping many Americans from recognizing you .. your style has camouflaged your dishonesty …. but many of us see you for who you really are … and we will not stop exposing who you are every day, forever if it is necessary.
Mr. Obama, you are dishonest. Anyone who votes for you is enabling dishonesty.
Mr. Obama , America cannot trust that you will put America first in your decisions about the future.
Mr. Obama, you are not the “change” that America deserves. We cannot trust you.

And for whatever reasons, the mainstream media will not give adequate coverage or research about your lies, distortions, word parsing, bad associations, race baiting, lack of operational leadership experience, and generally dishonest character. The media is diverting our attention from your relationships and ignoring the fact that you lied about those relationships. The fact that you lied is much more important than the relationships themselves …. just like with Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon … Monica Lewinski and Watergate were not nearly as bad as the fact that those men lied about the events … false witness … perjury … your relationships and bad judgements are bad on their own …. but your lies are even worse.

A Letter To An Obamazombie: Why BHO Is Bad For The Country
Dear Obamazombie,
Please read this blog and my friend Larry’s blog No Left Turnz. They both will provide you with more information. I love you and I want you to make a truly informed decision. All of the information that I have provided can be researched on the Internet. Another good website for information is Moonbattery. Why do you like Barack Obama so much??? I really want to know. No one I have asked can tell me why they blindly support such a dangerous and inexperienced candidate. I really want you to wake up, turn off the television, and stop drinking the Kool-Aid.
Life begins at conception and if it ain’t a baby, you ain’t pregnant. Barack Obama does not believe this – except for his own kids. He NEVER would have asked or encouraged Michelle to abort their kids, yet he has no problem with others aborting theirs – including encouraging his own daughters to abort instead of being “punished with a baby”. There is no “choice” in being “pro-choice”. The truth about abortion providers is that they deceive women into thinking that killing their baby is their only option. They also fail to outline the physical and mental side-effects. I may go through a lot of pain in adopting Izzie out, but at least I know that she is alive. I do not have to live knowing that I killed my child. Every woman knows that they are carrying a baby. They just delude themselves into thinking that they’re not in order to rationalize their decision. Abortion is selfish and self-serving. There is NO WAY that an abortion would make a woman feel better about getting pregnant (the “mental health of the mother” argument). It would only make her feel worse knowing that she killed her baby. Barack Obama has no problem making Down’s syndrome babies extinct or endangered. Most babies that are aborted are either minorities (including his own race) or have Down’s. He was the ONLY state senator to argue that it is OKAY to let babies who survive a botched abortion DIE. His excuse for his vote and argument was the bill introduced did not mimic the federal legislation exactly. When it was reintroduced, this time EXACTLY mimicking the federal legislation, he still voted either “no” or “present” (essentially a “no” vote in Illinois).
Barack Obama has never taken a stand on anything – except abortion. He voted “present” over 140 times while in the Illinois State Senate. He avoids controversial votes to this day.
Do you really want someone who has no experience in the White House??? Never mind that Barack Obama has not held a real job since he flipped burgers in high school. He is clueless on how the presidency works and fancies himself a dictator. He’ll just ignore all treaties and the Constitution and make his own rules — if we the people let him. Also, Obama could never get a security clearance from any US intelligence agency. He could never be an employee at the White House. He could never be anywhere near a nuclear weapon or a nuclear submarine. He could never pass a basic background check by the FBI. Why? Because his relationships with Ayers and Rezko would immediately surface and could never explain away those relationships in a manner that would satisfy our security requirements. Yet, he is on the verge of being handed the keys to White House by uninformed voters and, more importantly, ACORN registered illegals.
Barack Obama will say anything to get elected – more so than John McCain. Barack Obama claims to be blue collar in rural Pennsylvania, and then turns around and tells fellow elitists in San Francisco that rural Pennsylvanians “cling to their guns and religion.” He will say whatever appeals to the particular constituency to whom he is speaking – whether or not he truly believes what he is saying. At least John McCain is consistent across constituencies.

While in the Illinois Senate, Obama was handed bills that were written by other people and took the credit for crafting them and passing them – as if he is the only one in the Senate. He also has tried to take credit for John McCain’s 2005 attempt at reigning in Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. He may have written a letter, but John McCain wrote LEGISLATION. Big Difference.

The Vivisection of Hillary Clinton
One thing that I have learned about Hillary Clinton throughout this election season is that she is not the most liberal Senator in the Senate and that she actually possesses some Conservative qualities. She is actually rated 17.2% Conservative by National Journal. I still don't like her, but I have learned to respect her, a little. I do realise that she is still a Clinton and a Democrat and still carries all of the baggage associated thereof. I liked her speech until she inserted her Leftist leanings into it (universal health care, compulsory public education, global warming) and of course when she was throwing her "support" to Barack Obama. Michelle Obama's reactions to Hillary's speech were interesting. Unless Hillary was singing the praises of BHO, MO had a scowl on her face. Chelsea Clinton has inherited her mother's "Evil Death Stare". Hillary's speech sounded more like a stump speech for herself than a support speech or rallying speech for Obama. I'm sure that was all part of Hillary's "Evil Plan". Rush's "Operation Chaos" may still be in full effect -- the Dems may be playing the game and not even realising it. Here is my analysis of Hillary's speech Tuesday night at the DNC:
"I am honored to be here tonight. A proud mother. A proud Democrat. A proud American. And a proud supporter of Barack Obama."
Whatever. She's definitely a proud Democrat. The other sources of pride are yet to be seen.
"My friends, it is time to take back the country we love."
Yes it is. It is time to take back the country and elect John McCain.
"I haven't spent the past 35 years in the trenches advocating for children, campaigning for universal health care, helping parents balance work and family, and fighting for women's rights at home and around the world ... to see another Republican in the White House squander the promise of our country and the hopes of our people."
No, you've spent 35 years (OK, maybe 30, her Goldwater years must count for something) advocating Socialism and trying to usher in the New World Order.

I hate to talk about the emotional side, but this was really touching. When Hillary was talking about Rep. Tubbs Jones, the camera panned to where Bill Clinton, Mervyn Jr. and Mrs. Gwatney were sitting and Bill put his hand on Mervyn's back like a father. Bill seemed genuinely proud of Hillary's speech the whole time. He looked like he had tears in his eyes through most of the speech. I think deep down he really loves his wife, he just needs a pad lock on his zipper and Hillary needs to wear the key around her neck.
"Jobs lost, houses gone, falling wages, rising prices. The Supreme Court in a right-wing headlock and our government in partisan gridlock. The biggest deficit in our nation's history. Money borrowed from the Chinese to buy oil from the Saudis.
Putin and Georgia, Iraq and Iran."
You can't blame Bush for all of this. She is right about partisan gridlock. It's her Dem friends that are the major contributors. We have a Democrat Congress hell-bent on vetoing any and all legislation proposed by a Republican. We have Nancy Pelosi mandating a five week vacation so that Republicans cannot hold an up or down vote on a comprehensive energy policy. The economy started floundering while Clinton was still in office. Bush inherited a mess. I don't agree with all of George W. Bush's policies, but he is not the only one in the government. We have three dysfunctional branches of government. We have a Leftist Supreme Court that would rather legislate from the bench than examine already existing legislation for its Constitutionality.
"I ran for president to renew the promise of America. To rebuild the middle class and sustain the American Dream, to provide the opportunity to work hard and have that work rewarded, to save for college, a home and retirement, to afford the gas and groceries and still have a little left over each month."
She is still running on that platform. She wants to achieve that on the backs of "the rich", but is smart enough not to say it directly. This paragraph sounds more like a Republican platform than a Democrat one. This must be one example of Hillary's "conservatism".
To promote a clean energy economy that will create millions of green collar jobs.
"Green collar"??? How cute.
"To create a health care system that is universal, high quality, and affordable so that parents no longer have to choose between care for themselves or their children or be stuck in dead end jobs simply to keep their insurance."
For as much as Hillary criticises BHO's lofty plans and the absence of any proposed method of paying for them (and rightly so), she needs to explain how we are going to pay for "Hillary Care". Her health care plan is nothing more than socialised medicine and it will not work. We do need to fix the health care system in this country, but socialised medicine IS NOT the answer.
"To create a world class education system and make college affordable again."
The first step in creating a world-class education is to get rid of the teacher unions and stop indoctrinating our children and start educating them again. Parental involvement needs to be welcomed, not feared. Parents need to have the right to choose which school their children attend or if they will attend school. Homeschooling needs to be embraced as a viable option. The federal financial aid system needs to be fixed (i.e. once you live on your own and your parents no longer support you, your parents' income need not apply).
"To fight for an America defined by deep and meaningful equality — from civil rights to labor rights, from women's rights to gay rights, from ending discrimination to promoting unionization to providing help for the most important job there is: caring for our families. To help every child live up to his or her God-given potential."
Equal pay for equal work sounds great as long as it's not just based on gender or race, but based on ability and qualifications. There should not be a need for special rights for fringe minority groups if ability and qualifications are the only standard. Unionisation is not the answer. Unionisation = Socialism. We have passed the time when unions were needed. From the mid 19th to the early 20th centuries corporations took advantage of their workers and unions were needed to make sure workers were treated fairly and had a safe work environment. Now unions are nothing more than power-brokers and lobbying arms of the Democrat party.

That means kicking out illegals and stop providing them with shelter (San Francisco and the other so-called "shelter cities"), welfare benefits, food stamps, Medicaid, and free college educations. That means respecting U.S. immigration law and tightening our borders. That means you too, John McCain.

"To restore America's standing in the world, to end the war in Iraq, bring our troops home and honor their service by caring for our veterans."
Restoring our standing as a super-power sound better. As far as ending the war in Iraq, that may become moot no matter who is in the White House. Iraq's PM al-Maliki is talking about forcing us to withdraw all of our troops fairly soon (not sure of exact date). She is right about caring for our veterans, and DoD and the VA are working hard to improve care for our veterans.
"And to join with our allies to confront our shared challenges, from poverty and genocide to terrorism and global warming."
We can join our allies so long as they want to join us. When it comes to NATO, it may as well be the US military and a few NATO soldiers for color. We are the most generous country in the world. We send more aid (military and humanitarian) to more places and send more money than any other "rich" country on the planet. We do not need a $2,500 per capita tax to prove it. Our allies need to get in gear and help us fight poverty and terrorism. They need to stop being so risk-averse. Global warming is a farce. John McCain needs to recognise that as much as the Democrats do.

Bill seemed genuinely proud of Hillary's speech the whole time. He looked like he had tears in his eyes through most of the speech. I think deep down he really loves his wife, he just needs a pad lock on his zipper and Hillary needs to wear the key around her neck.

The federal financial aid system needs to be fixed (i.e. once you live on your own and your parents no longer support you, your parents' income need not apply).

From the mid 19th to the early 20th centuries corporations took advantage of their workers and unions were needed to make sure workers were treated fairly and had a safe work environment. The Dissection of Michelle Obama
I tried in vain to watch Michelle Obama's speech, but since I live in EU-Land, I would have had to wait until my husband got up to go to work in order to see it live. So, I have had to do the next best thing, dissect the transcript. Thanks to cable news and the Internet, I will still have plenty of fodder and news clips for my diatribe. If you listen to the MSM (who does that anymore???), you will hear how "authentic" and "genuine" Mrs. Obama's speech was. I beg to differ. Here is my analysis of "One Nation" (notice the lack of "Under God"):
"And Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you're going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don't know them, and even if you don't agree with them."
Work hard??? According to the Democrat platform and BHO's "community organizing", the only people who work hard are those whose tax dollars pay for welfare so that the lazy can stay lazy and the hard-working work harder and pay more taxes. Your word is your bond??? I think the only ones who believe in integrity are the ones who are calling the Obamas to the carpet for all of their lies and obfuscations. Dignity and respect??? Tell that to the all of the unborn babies who were slaughtered in the name of "choice". Tell that to the nurse who watched helplessly as that newborn baby died in her arms. BHO did not know that baby nor did he agree that that baby had a right to live, but defended its murder on the floor of the Illinois State Senate.

And BHO reflects that "middle" by choosing Joe Biden as his running mate.

Two anniversaries??? Try three -- BHO's acceptance speech falls on the anniversary of JFK's accepting the Democratic nomination for president in 1962. Coincidence??? I think not.

More Reasons Why I Despise Barack Obama
Life is not all flowers, trees, and rainbows. Life also is not fair. I despise Obama because he is a despicible human being. He would kill a newborn baby outside the womb if that's what the woman wanted (solely because that is what the woman wanted). On that point alone, I do not see any redeeming qualities in him. His speeches annoy me to no end. He speaks a lot of words and yet he says nothing. He wants to turn the United States of America into the Divided Socialist States of America. The rock star mentality does not appeal to me. I don't care how many Hollywood moonbats support him, I WILL NOT EVER support Barack Hussein Obama. BHO is NOT patriotic. He wants to destroy this country. He wants to bankrupt our country to "save" the Third World because he says we don't give enough. I have news for him: America is the world's most generous nation. Period. We don't need a $2,500 per capita tax to prove how generous we are. Who sent aid to Georgia? Who sent aid after the Myanmar cyclone (which THEIR gov't refused)? Who sent aid after the tsunami in Indonesia? We did. Barack Oshama is out of touch with reality and real America. He is more liberal than Hillary Clinton (as if that is possible). John McCain finished near the bottom of his class because he partied too hard -- and he will readily admit that. At least he was not bolstered to the top of his class because his Daddy was an admiral. He earned his class position. As far as McCain's "agents of intolerance comment is concerned, I have this to say: Have you ever heard Reverands Robertson or Falwell??? Some of the things they say make me cringe, and I consider myself ultra conservative and Evangelical. Also, liberals fail to remember that we conservatives don't agree with McCain 100% of the time. Heck, I don't agree with my husband 100% of the time, and I love him more than life itself. Liberals can be pretty black and white too. They seem to think that conservatives must agree with McCain 100% of the time. I would rather agree with someone 60% of the time (McCain) than agree with someone 0% of the time (Obama). If I agree with you 0% of the time, it means that I disagree with you 100% of the time. It is not a hard concept to understand. It's one thing to vote one way and then realise later that you made a mistake (hindsight is 20/20). It's another thing entirely to gloat and dwell on your mistake or change of heart ad nauseum. It's also bad when you try to revise your own history on your position or vote or when you constantly flip-flop to gain the support of whoever it is you are trying to pander to. McCain has said that even though he did not vote for Bush's tax cuts, he will keep them in place if he is elected. The only position that Obama holds continuously is that abortion is okay from conception to birth. Obama would never had told the people of Pennsylvania or Ohio that all they do is cling to their guns and religion, but he did say that about working-class Americans to a group of San Francisco liberals. Unlike most liberals, most conservatives do not see many gray areas. We are black and white because we take a position on an isssue. To most conservatives, sitting on the fence is not a valid position at all, it's a cop-out (and besides, sitting on fences hurts).

From Ugly to Beautiful
My name is Amy and I am 25. I am now married to the most wonderful man the Lord could ever bless me with. But when I was 17 I became pregnant with my daughter. I was scared, to say the least. While on my way to the airport to go visit my dad in Washington State, I felt nauseous and threw up. My mother did not mention it at the time, but she suspected it. When I got to my dad’s house, I puked again. My step-mom, who was a nurse, suggested that my dad and I go to the local Safeway and buy a pregnancy test. When I got home, I went into the bathroom and three minutes later, my worst fear came in the form of two big blue lines. I was pregnant. I was devastated. I cried…no, I sobbed. I couldn’t understand how this could happen to me. I was only 17. I had a big, bright future ahead of me. Only other people got pregnant, not me. My dad and step-mom were very supportive, but my mom and the father (not my husband)’s mom suggested I get an abortion, albeit for different reasons. His mother wanted me to abort because I was so young. My mother wanted me to abort because she hated the father. I did not want an abortion. Only other girls got abortions. I was pro-death, but only for other people. I was not going to abort my baby – especially if my mother was telling me to do so (we had a …strained…relationship). By the grace of God, my dad and step-mom took me into their home. I completed my senior year in WA, and I graduated with my class. In fact, I completed my credits a semester early. Senior year was not without its bumps, though. I felt like a whore. I felt like I had EASY stamped on my belly. I was wearing my sexuality on my belly, for all the world (and teen guys) to see. I was sexually harassed (the kid was expelled). I had a few bouts of morning sickness in the school cafeteria in front of all of my friends. When everyone was getting ready for senior prom, I was preparing to give birth and become a new mom.In the midst of all of this turmoil, God was making something beautiful out of something ugly – He was creating a new creature. On October 27, 1999, I received a letter in the mail from the youth ministry of the church I had been attending. The letter was to inform me about the topic of their next meeting – Teen Sexuality. As soon as I read the words, I could hear God telling me to go, but there was one problem, the meeting was on the same night as my grandpa’s birthday party. I never missed a family gathering. I told my parents and they told me to call my grandpa and tell him I couldn’t make his party because I had to go to church. My grandpa is a devout Catholic, and when I called him and told him, he completely understood. God was working. When I got to church, and heard the message, it was as if the pastor was describing my life. I was doing all of things he described and then some. I felt God tugging on my heart. At the end of the message and activities, we broke off into small groups; boys in the sanctuary and girls in the Sunday school buildings. It was there that I accepted Christ into my heart. That is not the end of my story.My aunt worked for a Crisis Pregnancy Center (a ministry of Focus on the Family) and hooked me up with kind and compassionate Christian counselors who helped show me what abortion was truly about. They showed me that there are other choices besides abortion. At first I wanted to keep my daughter, but I eventually decided to let my dad and step-mom adopt her, so I could serve my country in the Navy. I also did not want my daughter’s father to fight for custody of her. I lived with him for a little while and he ended up abusing me (he was arrested and served time in jail for the domestic violence). He also physically and verbally abused my baby. By the grace of God my daughter and I made it out of that situation alive. She is now almost seven years old and is happy and healthy (despite being born with a cleft palate and needing emergency bowel surgery when she was 17 days old). She still lives with my dad and step-mom. Unfortunately, I do not get to see her very often because we live so far away from one another. I don’t even call her as much as I should. Adoption is not easy, but abortion would be the hardest. Abortion (like suicide) is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. As hard as it is to deal with (I cry about it a lot), at least I know what my daughter looks like and how she is doing in school. If I had listened to those who wanted me to abort, I would have never known the answers to those important questions.
UPDATE: As of August 2008, I will be in the process of re-adopting my daughter because of the death of my dad and my sep-mom's health issues. Izzie will have a Mommy and a Daddy again!!! Also in July I found out that I'm pregnant, another answer to my prayers!!! God works in many wonderful ways!!
UPDATE: I found out that I lost my baby on 15 August 2008. I don't know why God decided to take my baby back to Heaven, but I do know that He works in powerful and mysterious ways.

Fact Vs. Theory
Why is it that we call Einstien's Theory of Relativity a "theory", but most people insist Darwin's Theory of Evolution is a "fact"??? People question new scientific discoveries, but they won't even touch Darwin with a ten-foot pole. The moment you question the sanctity of Darwin, you are accused of being "backwards" and "ignorant". Not to mention also "anti-science". If being "pro-science" means that I have to throw away my belief in an all-powerful Creator, then I guess I'm anti-science. Science has turned people against faith in the pursuit of "reason".
It takes more faith to beleieve Evolution is a fact than it does to believe that God created mankind. Think about this: If Evolution is a fact, then why didn't ALL monkeys "evolve" into humans???
Evolution is the root cause of most forms of discrimination. Darwin's "Survival of the Fittest" Theory has been the core argument of the pseudo-science of Eugenics. Eugenics in turn has spawned the rationale behind such social ills as Segregation, Abortion, and Euthanasia, just to name a few. Also, Adolf Hitler's programs of engineering a "master race" stemmed partially from Darwin's theories. Darwin's theories do not respect life. They boil life down to a series of random biological processes. His theories do not answer the question of "Why are we here". They leave us with more questions than answers. The Bible on the other hand, answers that question. Throughout the pages of the Bible, God tells us our purpose for life and why He created us.

The Sanctity of Life Vs. The Sanctity of Roe V. Wade
Abortion (and sanctity of life issues in general) in America boils down to two religious positions: the sanctity of life and the sanctity of Roe V. Wade. These sides each have their own Scripture and their own respective deities. The sanctity of life side (known henceforth as the Life side) has the Holy Bible (God's Word) as its Scripture and Yahweh as its deity. The sanctity of Roe V. Wade side (known henceforth as either the Roe side or the Death side) has the text of the 1972 US Supreme Court Decision Roe V. Wade (among other works such as Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species) as its Scripture and man as its deity. If any life is to be considered to have worth, then the "logic" of Roe and abortion evaporate. If life begins at conception (which it does), then abortion is state sanctioned murder (which it is). If embryos are babies (which they are), then embryonic stem cell research is state sanctioned murder (which it is). If Terri Schiavo was a person (which she is), then her death by starvation was state-sanctioned murder (which it is). What do all three of these statements have in common? They all hinge on a so called Constitutional right to Abortion, the Roe V. Wade decision (which is a Supreme Court ruling, NOT a constitutional amendment). If any of these hideous practices (abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and euthanasia) become outlawed, then Roe is threatened.
The American Left treats Roe as if it is Gospel. This decision has been responsible for millions of innocent deaths in America. These babies did not ask to die, they were forced against their will. It is our own Holocaust and it continues to this very day. Ward Churchill had it wrong when he said that the victims of 9/11 were "little Eichmanns". The die-hard Roe supporters on the Death side are more like Adolf Eichmann (For those whose history is a little rusty, Adolf Eichmann was one of the Nazi masterminds of the Final Solution aka the Holocaust. He was a despicable man). They have a utilitarian view of life and the worth of a person, as Adolf Eichmann and the other die-hard Nazis did. The Nazis started their program of death on mentally retarded children, then they progressed to adults, then political prisoners, Jews and other people they felt were "undesirable" and a threat to "racial purity". It is a slippery slope. We said "Never Again" when we found out the truth of the Nazi regime, but it was a lie. America is progressing forward (or backward) to the same place. Brave New World seems more like Scary New Auschwitz.
The Roe side says that abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and euthanasia are for the "greater good". How the purposeful killing of another human being can be a good thing is beyond me. The Nazis believed that the systemic killing (and experimentation) of those they felt were "undesirable" was for the "greater good" of the "Aryan race" (Aryans were a tribe of Germanic barbarians, but that is another story).
Abortion is seen as "good" for the mother. If a baby will be an inconvenience the mother from fulfilling her own ambitions (NEWSFLASH -- children are not always convenient), or a baby will hurt her mental well-being (NEWSFLASH -- children will tax the mental health of their parents) or the mother is not financially stable or ready to have a baby (NEWSFLASH -- who but the very rich are financially perfect to have a child when they get pregnant?) or any other selfish rationalization they can come up with to rid themselves of such a "terrible burden". If the mother is too poor to raise a child, the most humane thing she can do is kill her baby? That's not the best she can do. Choice in America means one choice: Abortion. The best choice the mother can make is LIFE. If she cannot raise her child on her own, she can put him or her up for adoption. There are thousands of loving couples who cannot have children who would love to adopt a child. Another reason abortion is so pervasive is because the Roe side wants sexual freedom without limits and without responsibility. As far as embryonic stem cells are concerned, they have not yielded any cures nor any viable treatments, only tumours. ADULT stem cells, on the other hand, have yielded many successful treatments -- without killing a soul. Why has the Roe side remained silent? The American Left treats Roe as if it is Gospel. This decision has been responsible for millions of innocent deaths in America. These babies did not ask to die, they were forced against their will. It is our own Holocaust and it continues to this very day. Ward Churchill had it wrong when he said that the victims of 9/11 were "little Eichmanns". The die-hard Roe supporters on the Death side are more like Adolf Eichmann (For those whose history is a little rusty, Adolf Eichmann was one of the Nazi masterminds of the Final Solution aka the Holocaust. He was a despicable man). They have a utilitarian view of life and the worth of a person, as Adolf Eichmann and the other die-hard Nazis did. The Nazis started their program of death on mentally retarded children, then they progressed to adults, then political prisoners, Jews and other people they felt were "undesirable" and a threat to "racial purity". It is a slippery slope. We said "Never Again" when we found out the truth of the Nazi regime, but it was a lie. America is progressing forward (or backward) to the same place. Brave New World seems more like Scary New Auschwitz.

If a baby will be an inconvenience the mother from fulfilling her own ambitions (NEWSFLASH -- children are not always convenient), or a baby will hurt her mental well-being (NEWSFLASH -- children will tax the mental health of their parents) or the mother is not financially stable or ready to have a baby (NEWSFLASH -- who but the very rich are financially perfect to have a child when they get pregnant?) or any other selfish rationalization they can come up with to rid themselves of such a "terrible burden". If the mother is too poor to raise a child, the most humane thing she can do is kill her baby? That's not the best she can do. Choice in America means one choice: Abortion. The best choice the mother can make is LIFE. If she cannot raise her child on her own, she can put him or her up for adoption. There are thousands of loving couples who cannot have children who would love to adopt a child.
